Special Time or Location Shipping Requests
I begin shipping in August based on when the rhizome is ready and the
climate to which they are being shipped. Please specify any special delivery requests
in the “Delivery Requirements” area of the shopping cart.
Minimum Order
No minimum orders are required, but I highly recommend ordering between the
range of 1 and 25 because the minimum shipping charge of $15.00 automatically
will be accessed.
Order Cut-Off Date
The earlier you order the better your chance for receiving all of your
selections (I do sell out of varieties). To expedite harvesting and planting for
the coming Spring, I must have your order no later than August 1st.
Substitutions and Sold-Out
While I can “estimate” the sold-out status of a rhizome as orders arrive, until
I begin harvesting, I never know what Mother Nature has in store for my crop. If
substitutions are necessary, I will contact you with my recommendations.
Substitutions will only be made with your permission. If you do not want my
recommendations, please check the box “no substitutions” in the shopping cart. I
will refund any balance due with your iris delivery.
Plant Quality and Guarantee
Rhizomes are guaranteed healthy and
true to their registered name, top quality with excellent size, freshly dug from
my gardens, and disease and pest free.
If for any reason you are not satisfied, please notify me immediately upon
receipt of your plants. I will make things right with a replacement or refund
upon return of the rhizome.
Wild Prairie Farm & Market is firmly committed to providing my customers fresh,
quality rhizomes, endeavoring for the highest customer service and satisfaction.
Honesty, ethics, and integrity are the hallmarks of my business.
Privacy
Customer information, private or public, will not be sold or used by any third
party, for any reason. At Wild Prairie Farm & Market, I understand the
importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by my
customers.
All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption, which
are protected and secure.
Printed Catalog
My catalog is completely online and not available in print. Please print any
information you wish to have from the web site.
What You Will Receive When I Ship
I trim the leaves
and roots, wash, inspect and dry the plant, and clearly label each one. A box
will arrive with loose packing materials around the rhizomes, allowing air to
circulate and prevent dampness. Please open your box immediately and check your
order. I include a printed planting and care guide with every order. If you
misplace this, the FAQ section of this web site has information you may print.
How Soon Should You Plant
I will be shipping to you at the appropriate time in your zone for planting – so
do so at your earliest opportunity. My rule of thumb is to allow a minimum of
six weeks in the ground before a hard freeze for the rhizome to establish and
develop a strong root system for Spring blooms!
Surprise Bonus Plants
We all love surprises – giving them and receiving them! So do not be alarmed
that you have extra rhizomes in your order (and think you’re being charged).
It’s my gift to you and my way of saying “Thank You” for your order! It’s also a
great way to introduce you to new varieties.
